1. JIM CLAYPOOL ART & CONSERVATION WRITING CONTEST:
We are proud to congratulate 17-year-old Elianna Fromme of Glencoe, KY, a senior at Christian Academy of Carrollton. Elianna's essay, "Importance and Protection of Kentucky Wetlands," was selected as the Area 5 winner of the Jim Claypool Art and Conservation Writing Contest.
This prestigious contest, first introduced in 1944, drew more than 13,000 entries from across Kentucky, making Elianna's achievement truly outstanding! Through her thoughtful words, she highlighted the vital role wetlands play in protecting our water, wildlife, and way of life here in the Commonwealth.
Elianna will be invited to attend an awards ceremony in March alongside other area and state winners, and we couldn't be more excited to see her passion for conservation recognized on such a meaningful stage.
Congratulations, Elianna! Your voice, insight, and dedication give us great hope for the future of Kentucky's natural resources!

Founded in 1984, Christian Academy of Carrollton is a non-denominational school educating students in three-year-old kindergarten, four-year-old kindergarten, five-year-old kindergarten, and first through twelfth grades.
CAC is located in historic Carrollton, Kentucky, serving students from the Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana areas.
